Modern Standard Arabic is a simplified version of Classical Arabic used throughout the Arab World. With nearly 400 million speakers, mastery of this language offers an opening to the Arab-Muslim world and access to its media, culture, plurality and diversity.

The opening of a branch of our institute in Marseille demonstrates the desire to build ever more bridges between cultures and continents.   

Marseille, ideally located at the crossroads between the Middle East and Europe, already hosts a number of projects linked to the Mediterranean region.  

However, there is no space specifically dedicated to the teaching of Levantine Arabic and its culture, other than the Lebanese or Syrian restaurants of the Phocaean city.
